Ancient energetic patterns - a prayer for release

Please help me.
I have carried this ancient energetic pattern for so very long.
This ancient energetic pattern is not mine to carry.
It kept me safe and protected when I did not know how to do so for myself.
When I carry this ancient energetic pattern I am unable to carry that which is fully and uniquely mine to carry.

I now choose differently.

I take complete responsibility for carrying this ancient, underlying, energetic pattern.
I take complete responsibility for releasing this ancient, underlying, energetic pattern.
I release this ancient, underlying energetic pattern.
